COALINGA, Calif. – International cannabis brand Cookies today announced the upcoming opening of its first-ever U.S. consumption lounge in Coalinga, a city in Fresno County. The consumption lounge is located inside the new Cookies dispensary that features a full line of Cookies’ exclusive strain genetics and premium products.

Located just off the I-5 approximately 200 miles from San Francisco and Los Angeles, the high-end consumption lounge is the first in Fresno County and was thoughtfully designed as a bespoke space for people to consume legally and responsibly while also having the option of ordering food. Consumers can expect a curated, seed-to-table-like experience.

The alcohol-free lounge features a custom-made bar, luxury seating for 30 people and a top-of-the-line air filtration system. City ordinance allows any products sold in the Cookies Coalinga dispensary, including flower, concentrates and edibles, to be consumed in the lounge. Customers can also purchase cannabis-infused beverages and have them poured over ice. Product selection includes all Cookies top-shelf products and Cookies family of brands including Lemonnade, Collins Ave, Run The Jewels, Grandiflora, Minntz, Runtz, as well as Ocean Grown Extracts.

The Cookies Coalinga dispensary opens in partnership with the social justice brand EVIDENCE, which is owned and operated by siblings Dan, Casey and Kelly Dalton. It was a natural fit for Cookies ever since Berner partnered with the Daltons to provide a pack of VIBES rolling papers in every bag of EVIDENCE.

Casey Dalton stated, “We grow cannabis in a former prison in Coalinga, so partnering with Cookies to open the very first consumption lounge in Fresno County is a dream come true.”

Cookies looks forward to taking a break at the dispensary and consumption lounge on his frequent trips between the Bay Area and Los Angeles.

The Cookies Coalinga dispensary is located at 144 E. Durian Ave. and will open on Saturday, Sept. 18. Cookies will host a grand opening at 10 a.m. with Berner in attendance. Attendees must be 21+. Access to the consumption lounge requires an online reservation.
