THE HARVEST BALL  CELEBRATES A NEW SEASON OF CANNABIS

The Emerald cup Harvest Ball serves as a year-end celebration of the cannabis plant as well as the farmers and craftspeople who bring it to market, marking the opening of the application and entry process for the 2023 Emerald Cup Competition.

Since 2004, the Emerald Cup has been a December tradition, originating at a secretive location in the hills of the Emerald Triangle and evolving each year alongside California’s own evolution toward reform and legalization.

The Emerald Cup began as a competition strictly for outdoor, sungrown cannabis flowers, and it remained that way for well over a decade. This is why the Emerald Cup has always held an event in December, the perfect time to celebrate and enjoy freshly cured outdoor cannabis that was harvested two months prior.

More recently, however, the Emerald Cup Competition has grown to encompass more than 40 categories covering all forms of consumption. With indoor, mixed light, greenhouse, and homegrown personal use buds now eligible to compete, the Emerald Cup serves as an authentic reflection of the best of California cannabis culture and the state’s regulated marketplace has to offer. This is all showcased by the world’s biggest and best cannabis competition and awards show.

With December’s Harvest Ball in Northern California for its second year, the Emerald Cup Competition spanning throughout Spring, and leading to the iconic Emerald Cup Awards in Los Angeles just before the Summer season, the Emerald Cup truly covers all aspects and all seasons of cannabis.

Weekend passes to attend this year’s Emerald Cup Harvest Ball on December 10-11th, 2022 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, in Santa Rosa, California are available for presale now at www.theemeraldcup.com.
