RAW is a rolling paper and smoking accessories brand built around unbleached paper formats, pre-rolled cones, filter tips, rolling tools, smoking gear, storage products, and RAW Life merchandise sold through retail partners.

RAW’s brand history is rooted in founder Josh Kesselman’s longtime interest in rolling papers, an interest he developed as a collector before entering the business as a retailer and distributor. Kesselman opened Knuckleheads Tobacco & Gifts in Gainesville, Florida, in 1993, where he imported specialty rolling papers from Europe before later moving to Arizona and building HBI Innovations as a smoke-shop supply company. After developing earlier paper brands and pursuing a less-processed, unbleached paper format, he launched RAW’s first rolling paper line in 2005.

The paper lineup includes RAW Classic, RAW Organic Hemp, RAW Black, and RAW Ethereal. RAW Classic is available in formats including 1.25, 1.5, single wide, and king size. RAW Black is positioned as an extra-fine unbleached paper, while RAW Ethereal is a thinner paper line available in 1.25 and king-size slim formats.
