The daughter of a fashion retailer from London, Michele Meyer grew up reading the trades and signed up to attend Paris collections at age 10. After graduating from college, she became, at various times, a fashion writer, editor, photo stylist, and investigative reporter. During her career writing for publications as diverse as Women's Wear Daily, Allure, and National Geographic Traveler, Michele styled a fashion shoot in the middle of Paris rush hour, dodged bullets in Belfast, and survived a Mexican earthquake. She contributed to nine book-length biographies, including Alexandra Kotur's Carolina Herrera and Vogue's Anna Wintour, and was part of a team that created a Pulitzer Award finalist. Today, her journalistic specialties include executive profiles, health topics, and interior design.
