SAUKVILLE, Wis. – Pope Scientific, a leader in precision distillation and separation technologies, debuted its new CE-Certified WFC-200 2” Wiped Film Still. The latest addition to Pope’s equipment lineup marks a significant step forward in safe, portable, high-performance distillation systems tailored to the global cannabis sector’s evolving needs.
Going beyond simply incorporating CE components, Pope has created the WFC series where each wiped film still delivered is fully CE-Certified as a complete system. The WFC stills meet the rigorous safety and quality standards required for international and EU markets, plus provide a newly designed ergonomic portable distillation tool for non-EU regions. The WFC-200 model, compact yet capable, is ideal for R&D or small-batch production and is designed to help processors deliver high-purity cannabinoid distillates with confidence. Pope Scientific is showcasing the new 2” model at MJBizCon 2024 for markets world-wide.
Meeting Industry Demand with Certified Equipment
With the WFC-200, Pope Scientific answers the cannabis industry’s growing need for certified, reliable equipment that can purify cannabinoids, including the minor species such as CBC, CBN, CBG, THCV, etc. This system incorporates cutting-edge features, including CE-marked, precision components and a new user-friendly, compact, and portable design. Notably, the WFC-200 model is housed within a stainless steel, skid-mounted frame, making it both durable and versatile for labs and processors seeking equipment that meets stringent regulatory requirements. The WFC model Wiped-Film Molecular Stills are also available in 4” and 6” sizes for throughputs to 10 kg/hr or greater.
“We are thrilled to introduce the WFC-200, especially at a time when the demand for safe, compliant processing solutions is higher than ever,” said Dean Segal, VP of Sales & Marketing at Pope Scientific. “This new model reaffirms our commitment to providing cannabis processors worldwide with equipment that optimizes efficiency without compromising on quality or safety.”
Expanded Product Line for Complete Cannabis Distillation Solutions
Alongside the WFC- Series stills, Pope Scientific also offers a broader suite of solutions, including high-throughput ProPass still models, and turnkey multistage distillation systems, providing processors with industrial production modules to meet their specific needs. Pope’s Nutsche Filter-Dryers used for filtration and CBD isolation will also be on display in booth 6033 at MJBizCon 2024. Also offered are still systems for terpenes products, fractionators for solvent purification, and reactor vessel systems for many applications, including synthetic cannabinoid production.
