Each day at last week’s fifth annual Marijuana Business Conference in Las Vegas was a big success, but opening night was an even bigger Bhang. Iconic edibles maker Bhang hosted the “Bhang Bash” to celebrate its new joint venture with longtime cannabis advocates Cypress Hill – the rappers have been extolling its virtues since they formed the group in the early ’90s. The new company (CBH) plans to offer flower, pre-roll’s, concentrates, edibles and more, starting in 2017. Its mission? “Keeping it simple while maintaining quality and integrity,” explained Cypress Hill’s B-Real.
The vibe at the rooftop celebration at The Rio was extra-elevated. “It was the first party to set things off since the election. It was completely packed, and the guests were not in business mode (for a few hours), just celebrating who we are and what we’re doing, which is a huge part of history,” said attendee Damon Michaels, Director of Sales and Business Development at Ebbu.
