National Cannabis held its “Emerging Market Tour” over the weekend. The event was held at the Ricardo Montalbán theater in Hollywood.
Speakers ranged from all walks of the cannabis industry. The topics covered by the speaker panels focused on many areas.
The industry, in California has a bit of uncertainty moving forward as the potential for recreational legalization looms. Many of the speakers addressed Auma and its potential impact on California cannabis businesses and growers.
Other topics included security concerns in a legal marijuana world, prohibition failures, the lack of cannabis research, addressing minority and female access to cannabis businesses, and the impact of the 6th largest economy (California) entering the legal recreational space.
