SACRAMENTO – Got cannabis? The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) launched its “This is California Cannabis” promotional campaign, offering educational resources and outreach highlighting California cannabis cultivation.
The campaign will profile California cannabis cultivators from all across the Golden State; from farms located in the legendary Emerald Triangle to urban, high tech indoor grows in Southern California. Information also will be available through the campaign for cultivation licensees and new applicants.
“We’re proud of California’s vibrant cannabis cultivator community,” said Richard Parrott, director of CDFA’s CalCannabis Cultivation Licensing Division. “California is known for growing the best cannabis in the world and our licensed cultivators are leading the way with innovative practices and environmental sustainability.”
Viewers can visit the CDFA website to view video profiles. Many resources also are already available on the campaign webpage, including fact sheets, reference guides, newsletter sign-up, and much more.
Community events and workshops are planned statewide, with emphasis on technical assistance for licensees and applicants. The campaign also encourages followers at Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
