Chicago, ILCannaTrac  (“CannaTrac”), the leading cashless payment system solution for the cannabis industry, today announced release of the CannaCard App – the company’s mobile application and cashless payment system.

CannaCard  is the “Starbucks app” of the cannabis world. It allows users to easily upload funds through the app with their checking account, debit card, credit card, and/or cash in person at partnered dispensaries or retailer loading stations. The app also allows the consumer to “Shop” dispensary specific menus and conveniently “Pay” from their mobile phone. In the near future, consumers will be able to “Earn Rewards” for loyalty to specific dispensaries as well.

“We are excited to announce the official release of the CannaCard App ,” said CannaTrac  CEO Thomas Gavin IV. “We aim to serve the cannabis industry as the go-to cashless payment solution as we promote safety by removing cash from the equation and provide consumers with an easy way to support their favorite retailers.”

CannaCard  is currently active in Colorado, one of the world’s first legal cannabis markets, at Kush Gardens located at 4550 Highway 6 & 24 in De Beque, CO. CannaTrac  is currently in negotiations with several other companies to integrate the CannaCard  into their systems and will soon expand throughout the United States as the nation’s cannabis market is expected to reach 24.1 billion by 2025. This expansion will include California, the nation’s most profitable cannabis market.

Currently, CannaCard  is the only mobile payment system fully integrated into the Adilas point-of-sale (POS) platform. As of mid-December 2018, this equated to more than 900 cannabis-related businesses currently using Adilas.

Full Integration into the Adilas system entails that any of these 900 cannabis-related businesses can fast-track becoming a participating member of the CannaCard  platform by simply requesting Adilas to turn on the CannaCard  payment option.

The CannaCard  can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the Apple Store. Consumers can reload their CannaCards at participating dispensaries, or directly through their online/mobile account. The flat fee to load their account is only $0.95.
