Pure Ratios’ shareholder, Reggie Williams, will be honored at the Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis on February 4th, 2018. Williams, a former linebacker for Cincinnati Bengals, will be acknowledged during the event’s 50th Anniversary of the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. Williams was the proud recipient of this award in 1986.

After playing 14 years in the NFL, the game has left him with many ailments and chronic pain. Over the last 30 years, Reggie has endured 24 knee surgeries, bone infection Osteomyelitis, and skin grafts that left his right leg 2 5/8 inches shorter. Williams had to fight to keep his leg from being amputated.

Williams’ goal was to be able to travel and accept his awards without any crutches or pain. He was successful last November when he was honored among the Bengals First 50 weekend halftime game. Williams was selected as #12 of the top 50 players in Cincinnati Bengals history. “It was a true pinnacle moment for me to be able to walk out on that field without any pain, crutches or even a limp! I was able to do it with Pure Ratios. Before then, it wouldn’t have been possible. It made it even more bittersweet that I was back at my home stadium. I am looking forward to doing the same at the Super Bowl!”

Williams has found pain relief in Pure Ratios products such as the patented patch that works for 96 hours. His quality of life has significantly changed with the use of CBDs. “That’s why I’m involved now – to take the stigma off of a natural medicine. Because there needs to be other options – not just for NFL players but for all of us,” Williams said. Williams is an advocate for the use of medical cannabis as a safe alternative for pain to avoid opiate addiction and irreparable damage to the body. He emphasizes, “It’s an amazing feeling to wake up with no pain! It is a sense of freedom. It is something this administration and organizations need to support.
