Mile High Labs Opens New Mega CBD Production Facility

BROOMFIELD, Colo. – A new all-in-one CBD production facility has just opened its doors.

Mile High Labs’ 400,000 square foot facility could make it one of the biggest companies in the CBD industry. Its new facility, located in Broomfield, Colorado, includes equipment and infrastructure for research and development, quality assurance, bottling, packing, warehousing, labeling, shipping, and compliance monitoring.

The space is also being viewed by many, including Colorado Governor Jared Polis (D), as a major job creator for the area.

“We’re particularly interested in creating jobs in growing sectors,” Polis told the crowd at a tour of Mile High’s facility. “We have the most knowledgeable and talented hemp workforce in the country.”

Approximately 250 employees are currently working at the facility. A wide range of white label CBD products can be manufactured at the facility and purchased by other brands.

Mile High Labs may be opening its new facility at the perfect time. Ensuring consistent dosing, quality control, and lab testing may help ease consumer fears as reports circulate about untested and dangerous CBD products, some of which even contain synthetic cannabis.

Before Mile High Labs took over the Broomfield property, the facility was dormant for months. Now, it is expected to gradually ramp up operations and eventually grow into its vast 400,000 square foot site. Some workers from the previous company occupying the space are now working for Mile High.

“It’s really exciting to see this place start to come back to life,” Stephen Mueller, Mile High’s chief executive officer and founder said. “I’m excited just about the scale and ambition of this place, and the way it changes how people think about the CBD industry and how people think about the company.”

Mile High Labs also has plans to open a large facility in Southern California. Until then, Colorado will serve as the company’s main hub, which should please Colorado residents, who were early to embrace legalized CBD and cannabis.

“You couldn’t find a better place to do it because as Coloradans, we’re really proud of our status as being the best state in the country for hemp cultivation and processing,” said Gov. Polis. “We have state agencies that understand the industry and its needs and have more experience than in other states.”
