WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Advanced Flower Capital Inc. completed its previously announced conversion from a real estate investment trust (REIT) to a business development company (BDC) regulated under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, effective January 1.

The completion of the Conversion expands AFC’s investment flexibility to pursue opportunities beyond real estate-backed loans, including a broader universe of operating businesses.
