The Harvest Cup, a premium New England-focused cannabis competition, was established in 2017 and is an open competition featuring entries from licensed and legacy market operators across the Northeast and beyond. Unlike other competitions where licensed facilities and legacy marketers compete separately, the Harvest Cup judges purely on quality of the entry and recognizes only the top two submissions in each category using unbiased, blind testing.

“We’re thrilled at these wins in multiple infused categories — and to have swept the table in Topicals,” said Cassandra Purdy, founder and head chef at Sweetgrass. “We’re also pleased to have been recognized once again for our live rosin, placing second in a hugely competitive field.

“Our mission at Sweetgrass is to showcase the superiority of solventless extracts, and these wins show we continue to set the bar not only in concentrates, but also with our infusions for edibles and therapeutic applications,” she added.

“Coming second at the Harvest Cup is a huge honor, especially given the caliber of hashmakers competing in this event,” said Ben McCabe, chief operating officer and head hashmaker. “We want to send a special thanks to our friends at Picnic for the fantastic flower we used for this special drop. Their dedication and care in growing exceptional material is exactly what we need to make top-tier extracts. They’ve been amazing partners for us.”
