Würk was founded by the late Keegan Peterson, whose vision was to build meaningful, future-proof technology for cannabis businesses.

“Bringing technology to the cannabis industry — an industry doing so much good for so many people, changing lives and giving people better lives — was a dream come true for me,” Peterson said during a 2016 podcast. “So, when the opportunity came, I ran as fast as I could and never looked back. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”

“Keegan’s dream was always about more than just technology; it was about building something meaningful, something that gave people a better life. Würk has stayed true to that vision, helping shape the cannabis industry and now reaching even more people in other highly regulated industries. He ran toward this opportunity with everything he had, and I know he’d be proud of how far we’ve come and how many lives we continue to impact,” Peterson’s parents, Becky and Curt, and sister Britta Peterson said.
