BROOKLINE, Mass. –

The story of Best Dirty Lemonade begins with a son wanting to help his mother who was struggling with early onset Alzheimer’s and the debilitating effects of the disease.

Omari Anderson understood the benefits of cannabis in his personal life and created Best Dirty Lemonade, a cannabis-infused premium non-carbonated drink, to try to bring comfort to his mother. He saw how it provided some much-needed relief before her passing and decided to offer the beverage to people in his community who may benefit. As the popularity of the beverage has grown, Anderson sought to expand his production and subsequently move from the legacy market to legal cannabis markets around the country.

New England Treatment Access (NETA) today announced a partnership with Anderson and his company, Best Dirty Beverage, to bring the premium drink Best Dirty Lemonade to Massachusetts. NETA and Best Dirty Beverage celebrated this partnership by hosting a Juneteenth Launch Party at PKL, Seaport in South Boston. Attendees were able to taste the beverage and meet the founder. “I look forward to working with NETA’s team, who have shown a commitment to social equity along with strong strategic support for people of color who want to bring new ideas to the cannabis market,” said Anderson.

“We are so pleased to join with Omari and his team. We see a bright future for his vision to bring innovative products to cannabis consumers, whether for recreational or medical use,” said Lynnette French, Chief Operating Officer of Parallel, the parent-company of NETA. “Through our partnership, we want to help him connect to the wholesale market so he can expand his business-to-business relationships and further enrich his dream.”

Anderson’s story and his success with Best Dirty Lemonade can be traced to The Black CannaBusiness CEO Intensive Program, where BIPOC cannabis founders and entrepreneurs receive training from industry experts on how best to create a sustainable and vibrant business. The national education series, which began in 2022, is a partnership between Black CannaBusiness and multi-state operator Parallel, the parent company of NETA.

NETA and Best Dirty Beverage will initially release Best Dirty Lemonade to the adult-use market, with 5mg of THC, and a separate version for the medical market, with 25mg of THC. NETA will offer the premium drink beginning June 30th at its Brookline, Franklin, and Northampton stores.
