JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) recalled about 6,000 cannabis products from two licensed producers due to failure to comply with the state’s mandated testing and track-and-trace requirements. On August 6, the state recalled more than 2,600 Twenty Twenty flower, ground flower, and pre-roll products. Two days later, the state recalled more than 3,000 products sold to dispensaries and manufacturing facilities by C&C Manufacturing LLC. The second recall comprises vape cartridges, flower, pre-rolls, distillate, and edibles.

Complete lists of all recalled products are available here.

According to a public notice from the DCR, the Twenty Twenty products “were not compliantly tested prior to being sold to patients and consumers. The recalled marijuana product was tested at the unprocessed bud/flower stage rather than being tested at the final marijuana product stage as required…” and “presents a potential threat to health and safety.” However, the DCR noted, “no adverse reactions for this product have been reported to the DCR at this time.” Twenty Twenty’s parent company, NGWMO LLC, is cooperating in the recall.

The C&C Manufacturing recall affects products sold under the Rove, Zen, Bison, Gruntz, Grön, GOAT, Mary’s Medicinals, Panda, Platinum Vapes, Game Day, Tsunami, Cheeba Chew, Packwoods, DŌSD, and Flora Farms brands, among others. According to a DCR statement, the “products were not compliantly tracked in the statewide track-and-trace system (Metrc) as mandated by 19 CSR 100-1. Therefore, DCR cannot verify compliance with health and safety requirements.”

Consumers who have purchased the recalled items are advised to discard them or return them to the dispensary from which they were purchased. Returned products will not count against an individual’s purchase limit. Consumers are urged to seek medical attention if they experience any health-related issues, and are urged to report any incidents to [email protected].
