Presented by co-founding organizers Dani Diamantstein and Aaron Levant of Project, Agenda, and Liberty trade shows, with their partners at Los Angeles-based cannabis creative firm Green Street Agency, the Hall of Flowers show aims to bring representatives from all legal cannabis industry segments together, under one roof, to create a “incubator” style atmosphere for show attendees.
“Hall of Flowers is about buyers discovering brands, tasting products, and cultivating relationships,” Hall of Flowers show co-founder Diamantstein told mgretailer.
“We’re creating a show that will allow buyers to spend quality time with brands so that they can determine if the brands DNA fits their store and their customer. It’s not meant to be a rushed process, and this by itself should keep everyone busy over the two days at the show,” Diamantstein described. “We’ll have a consumption area that will be a great place for everyone to collaborate, interact, and share. Also Monday night’s party will be held offsite and will be another opportunity for a meeting of the minds.”
Entrepreneur, investor, branding and social media guru, author, and Hall of Flowers keynote speaker Gary Vaynerchuk will address attendees on the emergent cannabis industry, branding, marketing, trends, strategies, and opportunities.
An early Internet advocate, Vaynerchuk started his marketing career by leveraging then-early video platform YouTube to grow his family’s wine business into a multi-million dollar operation, with his WineLibraryTV videos.
Vaynerchuck’s initial success led to the founding of VaynerMedia, and Vaynerchuk (popularly known as “Gary Vee”) was an early investor in tech platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Venmo, and Uber, attesting to his potential-spotting abilities. He is also a five-time New York Times best-selling author, speaker, and frequent TV talk show guest.
Hall of Flowers features a list of curated cannabis companies, which show attendees will have networking access to, including AbsoluteXtracts, Apothecanna, Banana Bros., CannaCraft, Canndescent, Care By Design, Gas Cannabis Co., dosist, IC Collective, Hemper, Jungle Boys, Kiva Confections, Mary’s Medicinals, MedMen, Pluto Pearls, Satori Chocolates, SHO Industries, Timeless Vapes, and Trees By Game.
“A lot of brands out there are working hard to create amazing products,” Diamantstein added. “I’ve been looking forward to creating a way for brands and buyers to easily connect and make it worthwhile. My team and I are committed to bringing over 80 percent of California’s top dispensaries to the first show.”
