BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Los Angeles cannabis producer Triple Seven on Tuesday night hosted a gala launch party for seven of their specialty strains, which was a posh, well-attended warm-up for this week’s 420 festivities.
“This is mostly for our budtenders and buyers, to show appreciation,” Stewart Stinson, General Manager of theWEED said, gesturing toward strain tasting stations around the party. A video showcasing Triple Seven’s DTLA facility played for guests to view in the next room.
“Also to introduce our strains, which we grow in downtown L.A. We have big plans for what we’re doing, so we want to show what our work is all about–which is premium cannabis grown to the highest standards possible. We have one of the most technologically advanced indoor facilities in California.”
Strains included Triple Seven’s Purple Punch, Fire OG, Platinum OG, SFV OG, Black Jack, Zkittlez, and Blue Mountain Fire. Sampling stations at the event each offered one of the seven signature strains being debuted by Triple Seven. Guests were able to request a hand-rolled smoke in 24 karat paper or try a few puffs with provided glass sampling pipes, which was theirs to keep.
Held at The Terrace, at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, evening outdoor ambience was highlighted with the open party space’s retractable roof letting in the stars. A guestimate put attendance at more than 200–Triple Seven staff, guests, and diverse cannabis enthusiasts, all of whom where able to enjoy strains, as well as a special Triple Seven cocktail and champagne. Tapas were served including spoonfuls of ahi and avocado, miniature chicken wings with blue cheese, and boiled heirloom potatoes with exotic sauces.
