CHICAGO — Acannability has launched a groundbreaking campaign, ‘The Science Behind the Plant.’ This campaign will revolutionize our understanding of cannabis plant science and its incredible potential. In conjunction, the company is reintroducing the Acannability Seal and its education tool, the Cannabis Periodic Table of Molecules.

“We’re concentrating on the science of this plant, which is composed of 51 selected cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and precursor acids, all having medicinal benefits,” said Joseph Friedman, RPh, MBA, a medical cannabis pharmacist and pharmacology expert. “The numerous benefits of these molecules are distinct and should detract from the stigma around the plant’s recreational use. Acannability is committed to exploring the scientific makeup of the plant and how to use it with purpose.”

The campaign will run for three months, targeting the Chicago market. The campaign focuses on several key areas involving the extremely complex plant, including:

  • Traveling with cannabinoids responsibly to avoid legal minefields, understand transportation method do’s and don’ts, regulations in other countries, and travel alternatives.
  • Gifting cannabinoids responsibly by familiarizing yourself with the local and state laws, who to gift to and how, where to buy, and gift presentation.
  • Showcasing the benefits of cannabinoids for women during perimenopause and post-menopause, including improving sleep, regulating mood, relieving pain, enhancing libido, and decreasing neuroinflammation.
  • Educating consumers about the benefits of THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin) as a natural alternative to synthetic appetite suppressants and the ability to assist in addressing metabolic disorders.
  • Highlighting the Acannability Seal and the Cannabis Periodic Table of Molecules as tools for informed product selection and molecule identification.

“The Acannability Seal is a symbol of our commitment to product safety,” said Friedman. “It is displayed on products that undergo rigorous quality lab testing and adhere to our strict Quality of Standards.”

The Cannabis Periodic Table of Molecules is a free, interactive educational tool designed to provide comprehensive insights into the medicinal benefits of cannabis. Friedman led the selection process for the molecules featured. The chart serves as a common language for cannabis consumers and industry participants, promoting a more informed and science-based conversation about the benefits of the cannabis plant.

“We are thrilled to launch this campaign and provide consumers with valuable information about the benefits of this plant,” said Friedman. “Our goal is to empower consumers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions and enjoy the many benefits of cannabis safely and responsibly. The power to self-educate with reliable information and use it to collaborate with providers can help bridge people’s transition from canna-curious, to canna-informed.”
