ST. LOUIS – Current Cannabis celebrated its first anniversary with a customer appreciation event August 15. Afterward, the dispensary donated $1,000 to the Great Rivers Habitat Alliance (GRHA) to help build awareness and generate support for efforts to preserve and protect Missouri’s scenic and economically vital rivers. The waterways provide critical environmental, recreational, agricultural, and economic benefits across the state.
Earlier this year, Current Cannabis was recognized as Greenway Magazine’s 2026 Startup of the Year, a testament to its support of conservation organizations and outdoor recreation initiatives.
“My late father co-founded the Great Rivers Habitat Alliance, so it is especially meaningful for us to support an organization that has done so much to protect the state’s natural resources,” said Current Cannabis Chief Executive Officer Adolphus Busch V. “Conservation and community stewardship are values that have deep roots in our family, and we are proud to carry that legacy forward through Current Cannabis. Thanks to the generosity of our customers, we were able to donate $1,000 to support GRHA’s important work, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the years ahead.”
