The iconic cannabis competition, celebrating excellence in the cannabis world and awarding the “best-in-class” in the community opens its application process on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, and will begin the entry submission process on Monday, January 3, 2023, thru Friday, February 3, 2023. For the 2023 competition, Emerald Cup consists of over 40 judged categories (a full list below) – a full-spectrum of cannabis including flowers, concentrates, edibles, topicals, and more – with five brand new classifications for the upcoming awards including Pre Roll – Hemp Wrap, Pre Roll – Deluxe Joints, Edible – Health Conscious Edible, Tinctures – Wellness – Capsules, Tabs and Alternative Cannabinoids – Health Conscious Edible.
The Emerald Cup Competition & Awards offers a transparent and trusted chance for California’s best cultivators, extractors, movers, shakers, and cool-product-makers to put their best head-to-head against the rest.

All winners will be announced at a formal awards ceremony in Los Angeles in May 2023.
