CALGARY, AB – High Tide Inc. signed a definitive agreement under which it will acquire four of the six Ontario retail cannabis stores owned by J. Supply Holdings Inc., operating as Northern Helm, in a transaction valued at C$7.74 million. High Tide will assume approximately C$3.2 million in debt plus pay 40 percent of the balance in cash (approximately C$1.83 million) and the remaining 60 percent (approximately C$2.75 million) in common shares of High Tide.
The purchase price represents 4.5 times the annualized adjusted EBITDA of the stores for the three months ended March 31, 2026.
The stores are located in Bowmanville, Kingston, Courtice, and Oshawa. Theacquisitions will bring High Tide’s total store count to 228 Canna Cabana locations across Canada, with 103 in the province of Ontario.
Pending court and exchange approval, the transaction is expected to close “in the next few weeks,” according to a company statement.
