NEW YORK — LeafLink is included among Fast Company‘s list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025. This year’s list shines a spotlight on businesses that are shaping industry and culture through their innovations to set new standards and achieve remarkable milestones in all sectors of the economy. Alongside the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies, Fast Company recognizes 609 organizations across 58 sectors and regions.
“Being recognized as one of Fast Company‘s Most Innovative Companies is an incredible honor and a testament to the fact that LeafLink’s technology solutions solve some of the cannabis industry’s most significant pain points,” said Artie Minson, CEO of LeafLink. “The cannabis industry continues to grow, evolve, and push boundaries thanks to the tireless work of passionate entrepreneurs. We’re grateful to play a role in helping our customers manage and streamline their businesses, and we remain committed to building tools that power their success. We are incredibly excited about our 2025 product roadmap and look forward to continuing to partner with our customers to drive the industry forward.”
Over the past year, LeafLink has continued to innovate in cannabis commerce with the introduction of products such as Payment on Sell-Through (PoST), an industry-first payment option designed to tackle one of the sector’s biggest challenges: delinquent payments. In addition, LeafLink has launched new tools focused on driving financial stability for customers, enhancing sales rep productivity and streamlining cash flow management. Features include streamlined order creation solutions, real-time retailer collaboration solutions, predictive operating and cash flow analytics, and proactive collection tools. Optimizing retailer purchase decisions has also been enhanced with LeafLink Plus, a tool that provides insights into the retail supply chain including which products to buy, how much to buy, and when to buy them.
LeafLink also completed two major acquisitions in 2024 that expanded current product offerings and meaningfully grew the customer base. In July 2024, LeafLink acquired Dama Financial, giving customers access to safe, compliant banking solutions, helping to break down barriers to capital that plague the industry. In November 2024, LeafLink acquired Leaf Trade, the second-largest wholesale cannabis marketplace specializing in multistate and enterprise operators. This month, LeafLink celebrated nine years since its first order was placed in Colorado with annual transaction volume across LeafLink and Leaf Trade platforms currently totaling approximately $9 billion.
The World’s Most Innovative Companies stands as Fast Company‘s hallmark franchise and one of its most anticipated editorial efforts of the year. To determine honorees, Fast Company‘s editors and writers review companies driving progress around the world and across industries, evaluating thousands of submissions through a competitive application process. The result is a globe-spanning guide to innovation today, from early-stage startups to some of the most valuable companies in the world.
“Our list of the Most Innovative Companies offers both a comprehensive look at innovation today and a playbook for the future,” said Fast Company editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan. “This year, we recognize companies that are harnessing AI in deep and meaningful ways, brands that are turning customers into superfans by overdelivering for them, and challengers that are introducing bold ideas and vital competition to their industries. At a time when the world is rapidly shifting, these companies are charting the way forward.”
