The inspection of the audit team took place at the NBi facility in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. The scope of SQF certification refers to the laminating, slitting, forming, zipper application, and packing of metalized polyester and recycled polyethylene digital flexible pouches packed in plastic bags and cardboard boxes.
SQF is a food safety standard recognized by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). GFSI has approved SQF as one of the benchmarked schemes that meet its stringent requirements for food safety management systems.
This recognition means that companies implementing SQF can demonstrate compliance with GFSI’s global standards, enhancing their credibility and market access.
