LOS ANGELES – In anticipation of the Super Bowl LIX, Jeeter, a cannabis pre-roll brand, unveiled Big Game Legacy Packs. The limited-edition collaboration honors two football legends: Calvin “Megatron” Johnson Jr., a former Detroit Lions wide receiver, member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and co-founder of the cannabis brand Primitiv; and Ricky “Highsman” Williams, former running back, Heisman Trophy winner, and founder of cannabis lifestyle brand Highsman.
Launching February 7 in dispensaries across California, Arizona, Massachusetts, and Michigan, both Big Game Legacy Packs feature rosin-enhanced diamond pre-rolls crafted to celebrate the careers of the gridiron greats.
Each pack includes one exclusive strain inspired by its respective NFL star and comes in collectible “locker style” packaging that pays tribute to their football legacy. The packaging features custom enamel pins: Williams’ signature #34 and Johnson’s iconic #81, along with memorable details from each player’s career.
The “Sticky Ricky” was created in collaboration with Williams for the fourth consecutive year and is an indica blend of Blue Mango and GMO Cookies, offering five rosin-enhanced diamond pre-rolls. This strain bursts with tropical mango sweetness on the inhale, followed by earthy funk and spicy pine undertones. Sticky Ricky delivers full-body relaxation and a euphoric high.
“I always get excited about this time of year, not only because it’s the big game, but also because I know Highsman and Jeeter are dropping another locker,” said Williams. “Every year we just build more and more on the collab. Last year, we did Miami Dolphins colors. This fourth year of the collaboration with Jeeter is even more special, with the Super Bowl being in New Orleans. Obviously, I played in New Orleans, so we were able to add a lot of unique special details to the locker. Also, we added a special nugget inside each box for the fans to check out.”
The “Primitiv Megachron” strain pays homage to Johnson and is an indica combining Northern Lights and Blueberry. Featuring five rosin-enhanced diamond pre-rolls, this exclusive collaboration with Johnson’s Primitiv brand boasts bold berry flavors with earthy undertones. Its effects begin with deep-body relaxation, easing tension before intensifying into a state of total tranquility.
“Teaming up with Jeeter to bring the Primitiv Megachron to life for the big game has been a lot of fun. This collaboration is about more than just celebrating great football. It’s about taking care of yourself, both physically and mentally,” said Johnson. “Cannabis has been an important part of my story, both on and off the field. I’m proud to share this exclusive strain with fans and cannabis enthusiasts, and I hope it helps everyone enjoy the game in their own way.”
Fans will have the chance to meet Williams and Johnson and get their lockers signed at special launch events on February 6, 7, and 8.
Big Game Legacy Capsule from Jeeter Apparel
In addition to the Big Game Legacy Packs, Jeeter will also release a limited-edition apparel collection with Williams and Johnson on February 5 under the Jeeter Apparel line. The Big Game Legacy Capsule will be available for purchase on Jeeter Apparel’s website and includes two one-of-a-kind capsules: one honoring Williams and the other celebrating Johnson. Each features a range of stylish pieces, including custom letterman jackets, matching sweat sets, jerseys, and more. Williams’ collection showcases a bold mix of black, gold, white, as well as yellow, purple, and green, paying tribute to his legacy as number 34 with the New Orleans Saints. Meanwhile, Johnson’s capsule embraces the Detroit Lions’ blue and white, with his number 81 prominently featured throughout.
Jeeter has dropped a number of popular capsule collections, from a collaboration with Jeeter partner and board member Dwyane Wade to the Varsity Capsule, a previous collab with Ricky Williams with sporty, university-inspired vibes. The company also released a women’s apparel line, Jeeter For Her, with model, influencer, and fitness entrepreneur Cindy Prado.
