IT and Cybersecurity Plan Writing and Reviews
Lucent will work with the client to develop and write an IT and cybersecurity plan for their application. If the client already has a draft of such a plan, Lucent can review it for accuracy, compliance, best practices, and spelling and grammar.
IT and Security Procurement Lists
Lucent will advise on which IT products clients should select for their business. They will provide the client with a complete list including product names, model numbers, vendor descriptions, pricing, and amount, which the client can then include in their application. This includes not just traditional IT products like firewalls, switches, laptops, and tablets, but also – if needed – IT-related security products such as surveillance cameras, Network Video Recorders (NVRs), access control panels, and motion sensors.
Security and Technology Floor Plan Overlays
Many jurisdictions require cannabis application writers to provide a copy of their floor plans, and to indicate on these plans the expected location of key infrastructure such as their security cameras, access control panels, NVRs, network access points (including WiFi and Ethernet cabling), and point of sale (POS) stations. Collectively these indicators are called “overlays” or “markups”. Lucent can handle all the IT- and security-related markups including all the infrastructure mentioned above.
Security Plan Reviews
Lucent can also review and edit security plans for accuracy, compliance, best practices, and spelling and grammar.
Many cannabis consultants and application writers rely on outside subject matter experts to assist them with different aspects of their applications. They have lacked a go-to IT expert until now.
