LONDON — The Pentawards annual competition, dedicated to recognising global packaging design excellence, has introduced its first sub category specifically for CBD products. In its 18th year, the Pentawards competition is now officially open and welcoming entrants across the healthcare CBD sector to submit their designs.
With reports stating that by 2032 the valuation of the global Cannabidiol Market is anticipated to reach USD 19.67 Billion, Pentawards launched this new sub category to celebrate and showcase how sectors are adapting to such a growing industry.
Head of Pentawards Adam Ryan says: “We’ve seen some really exciting, creative and experimental designs coming through in previous years for CBD specific products. Now the industry is predicted to be the fastest growing market in sectors like health care and cosmetics, we wanted to create a separate category to forecast upcoming trends. We’re looking forward to seeing a range of entries and what innovative packaging designs will come as a response to this growing market.”
