NORWOOD, Mass. – As part of its second-annual Help on the Homefront campaign, MariMed’s InHouse™ brand recently awarded four military veterans $5,000 each to help offset housing-related challenges and critical home improvements. Launched in 2024, Help on the Homefront is a philanthropic effort to raise awareness of the nationwide issue of veteran housing challenges and homelessness.
Veterans applied for the awards between October 1 and November 30, 2025. One veteran in each of four MariMed retail markets — Maryland, Massachusetts, Delaware, and Illinois — received the funds to help make vital home improvements or contribute to the payment of their rent or mortgage.
The 2025 veteran beneficiaries are:
- Shawn Giannino, U.S. Army | Middleboro, Massachusetts
- Charles Dixon, U.S. Army | Baltimore
- Kaniela Ramil, U.S. Army | Lewes, Delaware
- Charles Chambers Jr., U.S. Army | Bourbonnais, Illinois
