HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Cannabis delivery company Pineapple Express announced Tommy “Tiny” Lister—aka Deebo from 1995 classic movie “Friday”—will be delivering weed to four lucky contest winners every Friday for the month of April.

“Every Friday in the month of April will be 4/20,” Lister threatened in a promotional video for the contest on Pineapple Express’ YouTube channel. “Now get that camera outta my face.”

Customers can sign up for the sweepstakes at the Pineapple Express website. If chosen, the winners will receive special discounts on selected brands and products and the Pineapple Express team will contact them to set up their special delivery.

Lister, a Compton, California, native, started his acting career in the mid-80s and has appeared in over eighty movies. He also made a name for himself as a wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as “Zeus” and “ZGangsta.”

At six foot, six inches tall, Lister’s imposing presence made him perfect for menacing roles, like the bully Deebo in “Friday.” The cannabis-related comedy, co-written and starred in by rapper Ice Cube, brought Lister to a wide audience of movie fans. Lister also appeared in sequel “Next Friday,” in 2000.

A successful character actor for more than 25 years, Lister has made numerous movie and television appearances, including roles in “The Fifth Element,” “Jackie Brown,” “Barb Wire,” “Universal Soldier,” and “Things to do in Denver When You’re Dead,” among others.
