The multi-platinum artist has unveiled GKUA Ultra Premium, a new cannabis brand focused on potency and purity. Like make-up artists hitting it big on Youtube, or professional gamers earning money on Twitch, we all want to make a living pursuing our passions. What may have started as a hobby for Lil Wayne is now becoming a professional endeavor.

Lil Wayne has tested and approved GKUA products himself. Consumers can expect to find flower, including the limited edition Hollygrove strain, vape pens, pre-rolls, and potent concentrates.

GKUA Co-founder Beau Golob is pleased to have both a high-profile artist and knowledgeable cannabis enthusiast on board.

“The combination of our incredible products, market knowledge, and commitment to quality, paired with the unmatched fanbase of Lil Wayne, the ultimate cannabis connoisseur, creates an unprecedented opportunity to create a cannabis brand that values creativity and the artistic pursuit,” Golob said. “It’s an honor to lead this company along with Lil Wayne, curating a premium line of products that inspired people and feeds their creativity.”

Lil Wayne also plans to use GKUA to identify and promote artists from a variety of industries.

“As Lil Wayne has done throughout his career, GKUA will support new artists in multiple mediums, such as fashion designers, songwriters, musicians, models, dancers, and visual artists through artistic collaborations that promote not only the brand but the GKUA lifestyle,” the company said in a release.

GKUA will be available in select Los Angeles dispensaries initially with wider availability planned for California in 2020.
