The Emerald Cup 2019 Runneth Over (Photo Gallery)

The Emerald Cup, the longest running sungrown cannabis contest, celebration, and farmers market in the world, took place over the weekend at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The Emerald Cup prides itself in bringing together experts and educators in the cannabis industry with fellow farmers, patients, and patrons each year. The Cup runneth over with speakers like Tommy Chong, panels including this year’s popular “Not Your Mama’s Cannabis: The Women Shaping the Cannabis Industry,” parties, musical performers, and of course the highly-anticipated competition. This year’s sungrown flower winner was Ridgeline Runtz from Humboldt’s Ridgeline Farms, which also took fifth place honors for Ice Cream Cake. Second place went to POG (Passion Orange Guave) from Mendocino’s Greenshock Farms and third place to White Runtz from Humboldt’s Redwood Healing. See the full list of winners.
