Cannabis Industry Trade Publication Wins Coveted Folio: Ozzie Award

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The nation’s most prestigious publishing firms gathered recently in New York City’s Hilton Midtown for the annual two-day Folio: Show. As per tradition, the Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards took place at an evening gala event in conjunction with the Show. The annual awards program spans all corners of the magazine publishing industry, recognizing the very best in editorial and design. It’s the most comprehensive and prestigious awards program of its kind for the publishing sector. A panel of more than 300 judges narrowed more than 2,000 entries down to a pool of roughly 1,100 finalists, from which 378 awards were given out across 54 categories. 

Some of this year’s highlights included Harvard Business Review being named Magazine of the Year, Real Simple winning for Editorial Team of the Year, and the cannabis industry’s B2B journal mg Magazine winning for Best Design. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees included Maile Carpenter from Food Network Magazine and Stephen Orr from Better Homes & Gardens, among others.
