Some

of the RDC Interior Design Team’s recently opened work includes:

·     Confluence Park at

Valencia, CA for FivePoint <https://rdcollaborative.com/confluence-park-at-valencia/>: Interior Design and

Procurement services for a new club house, pool and community garden, a natural

space that provides luxurious comfort, respite and delight for residents and

formal event capabilities. Honored by the AIA OC, the award jury commented:

“Nice play with volume, light, and space and the connection of interiors

to landscape is well done.”

·     LaserFiche Corporate

Headquarters, Long Beach, CA <https://rdcollaborative.com/laserfiche/>: RDC designed

state-of-the-art interiors for the firm’s new construction headquarters

building that reflects the company’s vision of reimagining how technology can

transform lives. Created during the global pandemic, the interior architecture

is sustainable, flexible and efficient. The interior space encourages a spirit

of collaboration through a shared workspace dedicated to a common purpose,

addressing the many ways team members work today, with areas designated for

groups or individuals. Spaces are also optimized to simplify communication

between people working in the office with those working remotely. The first

floor’s common area is designed to hold company-wide events, including an

indoor-outdoor cafeteria.

·     The Tin Building, New

York City <https://rdcollaborative.com/2022/10/19/rdc-procurement-helps-bring-the-tin-building-to-life/>: RDC’s design and procurement team provided

services to transform the iconic Tin Building, a market and culinary collective

that opened in September in New York City. RDC worked in collaboration with

property owner The Howard Hughes Corporation and Cada Design to source and

deliver on-brand interior components on schedule.

Thilenius holds a master’s degree in architecture from the Georgia

Institute of Technology, where he has also served as a freehand drawing

instructor and design critic. He teaches oil painting from his private studio

and bridges the gap between art and architecture for every project with which

he engages.
