Long Beach, Calif. – They say necessity is the mother of invention. In the case of a new book from author Susan Soares, What’s Growing in Grandma’s Garden, the glaring need to educate responsibly forced Grandma to write from her heart. This desire to educate children, while helping parents have tough conversations is not a new concept. Many have used similar “hard conversation” books to educate their children on important topics such as puberty and the birds and the bees. Now cannabis gets a loving tool for parents and children to share.

In the book, a grandmother and her grandson share a love for gardening. They explore different plants including fruits, vegetables, and medicinal herbs. One of grandma’s favorite plants is cannabis. She uses the plant both for healing and for relaxation. She teaches her grandson about the reasons why some things are just for grownups. This is a critical conversation not enough parents are having today. What’s Growing in Grandma’s Garden creates a way for children to “just say know” when it comes to cannabis. A responsible lesson and conversation more people should be having in our complex world today.

This need for educational assistance was the inspiration for the book What’s Growing in Grandma’s Garden.

We C.A.R.E about changing the world. We are educating people about the benefits of the cannabis plant and helping them find responsible products that are best for them.
