PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Temescal Wellness has once again designated 4/20 as a paid holiday for team members at its dispensary locations in Massachusetts and production facilities. As part of its campaign to make “4/20 For the People”, Temescal Wellness celebrates everyone in the industry who will create space for employees to be able to celebrate the important holiday themselves, and invites other companies that haven’t considered it yet to join in.

“Some have questioned our strategy of closing on one of the most profitable days of the year. Yes, we lost a day of sales. But the number of people that visited our retail locations before and after the holiday, saying they did so specifically because of how we care about our employees, was huge. Our team members are our first priority every day, so we’re proud to have been the first to declare 4/20 a paid holiday for them,” said Sian Leininger.
