Finally the time has come to place craft cannabis alongside fine wine and other HIGH class comestibles.

The 2nd annual Mendocino Craft Farmers Auction will be held on June 17th in the picturesque Anderson Valley at the beautiful Brambles in Philo, thanks to the generosity of our hosts Jim Roberts and Brian Adkinson.

While this is a private non-profit event geared towards raising money for local charities, it also is a way for the craft cannabis farmers of Mendocino County to give back to the broader community and the County, while at the same time raising consciousness about the high quality of the cannabis produced here and the incredible people who produce it. We strive to be known as “the Napa of Cannabis” by showing that we can do it with style too!

Last year we raised $20,000 for the Redwood Community Services and this year proceeds after expenses will be divided between the Mendocino Land Trust and the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino.

The MCFA is produced by the Mendocino Cannabis Alliance (MCA) and the Mendocino Producers Guild (MPG) with support from Visit Mendocino. Several noteworthy farms from the region will be represented, and farmers will be on hand to share knowledge about the benefits of Sungrown cannabis.

The affair will start in the late afternoon when guests can explore items featured both on the silent and live auctions, sip local wines and sample some of the finest cannabis in the world, shared by Mendocino farmers. An old-fashioned “cigarette girl” will be strolling through the guests, offering freshly rolled joints on her tray.

An elegant supper will follow catered by Chef Dan Hagopian from Valley of the Moon in Sonoma. The Live Auction will kick off during dessert, to be followed by dancing under the stars and the redwoods.

Auction items will include rare opportunities such as visits and overnight stays at some of the top local cannabis producers farms, health and wellness experiences, fine dining and adventures in our world-famous wilderness. Other items offered will include locally made crafts, gift certificates from local businesses, farm products and more. Generous donors should not be surprised if their generosity is matched by growers who want to share from their Private Reserve for a truly unique and coveted experience!

This will be a great way for visitors to discover the eclectic wonders of Mendocino County. If you have ever wondered about the Emerald Triangle and why their cannabis is claimed to be the best, this is the perfect opportunity to find out, while having fun and donating to very worthy causes.

The Mendocino Craft Farmers Auction is a private event with attendance limited to 150. Tickets are $200 each and are tax deductible. There are limited tickets available for this special event to meet the farmers, contribute to a worthy cause, and to be part of a memorable gathering in Mendocino County.
