NEW YORK — Viridian Capital Advisors is pleased to announce that Ms. Sandy Li has joined its Advisory Board.
Sandy Li is a transformational business leader who possesses strong strategic and business acumen backed by real-world experience in driving growth and strong profitability. Since March 2022, Li has served as Chief Financial Officer at Wana Brands, the company has a footprint in multiple U.S. states and Puerto Rico, and nine Canadian provinces and territories. Li oversees all of the company’s financial operations including financial strategy, finance IT operations and creates opportunities as the company expands both nationally and internationally.
Prior to joining Wana Brands, Li was Head of FP&A and Treasury at Parallel, a multi-state cannabis operator, where she was responsible for short-term and long-term strategic planning, capital structure, treasury, risk management, process improvement, and IPO readiness. Before her foray into the cannabis industry, Li held various senior leadership positions in both public and private companies. From 2018 to 2020, Li was the Founder of SKN Advisors LLC, an advisory and consulting firm providing value-added CFO services for companies in a variety of industries including agriculture, wellness, and technology. Prior to SKN Advisors, Li was Senior Vice President, Head of Asia Markets at Loop Capital Markets, a full-service investment bank, brokerage and advisory firm, where she led the cross-border M&A and IPO activities.
Li graduated from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA degree in 2016 and earned her Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2000. Li also received her master’s degree in finance from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and her bachelor’s degree in finance from Henan University of Economics and Law in China.
