Created in Los Angeles California, Moose Labs strives to create a more sanitary cannabis smoke session. After attending the Denver Cannabis Cup in 2014, brothers Dan and Jay Rush returned home to Maria Testa, the third co-founder with their experience, resulting in a realization that there needs to be a cleaner way to smoke; from this, the MouthPeace was born. The MouthPeace was designed to fit most bongs, pipes, and vape pens in the market. In 2017, it was patented as a germ-free smoking device for personal use or in social situations where cannabis is consumed.

An extension of Inc Magazine’s Inc 5000 list, the Inc Regionals list focuses on recognizing companies with sustainable growth, as well as those generating jobs. Companies are ranked based on their percentage growth of annual revenue over a two year timespan. Between 2019 and 2021, those included on the list had an average growth rate of 559%, and added an additional $4.6 billion to the Pacific region’s economy. Moose Labs two year growth was an impressive 951%, nearly double the average of the list.

As more states legalize cannabis use, the industry continues to grow. Moose Labs has solidified their spot in the industry each year by paying attention to the needs of consumers. Since launching the MouthPeace, they have expanded their product selection to include a MouthPeace Mini, for on-the-go smokers, as well as eco-friendly corn filter fibers.

“Recreational cannabis use is steadily increasing, and we are dedicated to creating a more health-conscious smoking experience. It is an honor to be recognized for our work alongside so many other businesses succeeding in their respective industries,” said Moose Labs co-founder, Jay Rush.

“This year’s Inc. 5000 Regional winners represent one of the most exceptional and exciting list of America’s off-the-charts growth companies. They’re disruptors and job creators, and all delivered an outsize impact on the economy. Remember their names and follow their lead. These are the companies you’ll be hearing about for years to come,” said Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. Magazine.
