NEW YORK – Rudick Law Group, a national, women-owned law firm, added of-counsel attorney Juliana Salazar. Based in Colombia, Salazar brings a decade of experience as a licensed attorney in the country, with a background spanning corporate law, market-entry strategies, compliance, operations and entrepreneurship. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is positioned to support clients operating across the U.S. and LATAM, particularly as international cannabis markets mature and global trade considerations become increasingly relevant.
Her addition builds on the foundational international drug policy work led by Rudick Law Group attorney Jessica F. Gonzalez, who spent a year in Ecuador engaging with advocates, policymakers, and academic institutions on cannabis legalization and regional drug policy reform.
Over the past decade, Colombia has positioned itself as a trusted partner for highly regulated industries, offering legal certainty, exceptional growing conditions, and adherence to the highest global production standards, in addition to cost-effective niche opportunities such as the development of clinical trials. These strengths now support opportunities not only in medical cannabis and hemp, but across other niche markets such as wellness, nutraceuticals, and longevity.
Salazar’s addition follows a period of rapid growth for Rudick Law Group. During its inaugural year, the firm surpassed $1 million in revenue, a milestone achieved by fewer than two percent of women-led businesses. That momentum enabled continued investment in branding, infrastructure, and strategic growth initiatives, including the 2025 hiring of Victoria Cvitonovic, J.D./C.L., CIPP-US, AIGP, who led the firm’s launch into psychedelics, cyber security, data privacy, and artificial intelligence systems, with satellite offices in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and New Orleans, Louisiana. Cvitonovic was recently named chair of the New Mexico State Bar Association Committee on Cannabis.
